In India, the game of cricket is prevalent to the extent of passion and it is also known that cricket is played in three formats, with the duration of the test match being five days at most.  The limited-overs match is played on a single day and in recent years, instant cricket has an innings of 20–20 overs.  In such a situation, if a Test match of five days ends in just two days, then it is recorded in the pages of history.  The match between England and West Indies started at Lord's on 17 August 2000, and ended on 18 August.  While nine wickets fell on the first day of this test match, 31 wickets fell on the second day and England won the match by two wickets.  In the history of cricket so far, this match is recorded as the shortest Test match ending in a short period.
